FCC

FCC compliance support scoped to your product's actual RF and electronic profile.

We help identify which FCC rules apply to your electronic product, coordinate any required lab testing, and compile the compliance documentation.

01|OVERVIEW

What is FCC?

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates radio-frequency emissions and certain electronic equipment sold or imported into the United States, to prevent harmful interference with other devices and radio services.

Depending on the product type, compliance may involve Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (based on lab testing) or FCC Certification through an accredited testing lab and, in some cases, a Telecommunication Certification Body — a formal, third-party process that Gurur Consultancy does not itself carry out.

Gurur Consultancy helps identify which FCC compliance pathway applies to your product, coordinates with accredited testing labs, and compiles the documentation needed for export and customs — we do not test, certify or issue FCC approvals ourselves.

02|KEY BENEFITS

Why this matters for your business

Clarity on which FCC compliance pathway applies before committing to testing costs
Coordinated access to accredited testing labs for the required RF/EMC testing
Documentation prepared in the form US importers and customs typically expect
Reduced risk of shipment rejection for non-compliant electronic products
03|WHO NEEDS THIS

Who typically needs FCC?

Applicability varies by business — here’s who this usually applies to.

  • Manufacturers and exporters of electronic devices with radio-frequency components (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF modules, etc.)
  • Exporters of general electronic equipment sold into the US market
04|ELIGIBILITY & CONSIDERATIONS

Eligibility & requirements

  • Applies to electronic products in scope of FCC rules for the US market — not every electronic product requires the same compliance pathway
  • The applicable pathway (Supplier's Declaration of Conformity vs. formal Certification) depends on the specific product and its RF characteristics
05|DOCUMENTS

Documents & information

Commonly required documents may include:

Product technical specifications, including RF/electronic characteristics
Circuit diagrams or design documentation, where required by the testing lab
Existing test reports, if any
